How Insulating Is FR4 Sheet?

FR4 provides strong electrical insulation because its cured epoxy resin and woven glass reinforcement have low electrical conductivity. Its insulating performance depends on sheet thickness, voltage type, temperature, humidity, surface condition, electrode arrangement, and the direction in which the material is tested.
