Voltage resistance depends on material grade, board thickness, resin quality, glass reinforcement, moisture, temperature, electrode shape, and test method. A 1 mm epoxy insulation board may withstand approximately 10–15 kV under certain test conditions, but this range should not be treated as a universal working-voltage rating.
