Why Do Epoxy Sheets Delaminate?
Epoxy sheets delaminate when the bond between reinforcing fiberglass layers becomes damaged or insufficient to withstand applied stresses. This separation may originate during manufacturing, machining, or long-term service. Poor resin impregnation, incomplete curing, excessive mechanical loading, and repeated thermal expansion can all contribute to the problem.
